Basket Ball Wanderers Competition 11/12/2025

The Wanderers recently hosted an exciting school basketball competition at the Newcastle Eagles stadium, and our team rose to the occasion with an outstanding performance. Throughout the tournament, the students demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and dedication—qualities that shone through in every match they played.

Both our school teams were in excellent form, winning all but one game in a series of fast-paced, competitive fixtures. Their determination on the court, combined with strategic play and impressive shooting, helped secure their place as one of the standout teams of the event.

A memorable highlight of the competition was the opportunity for our students to meet several professional basketball players who attended as special guests. The players offered encouragement, shared insights into life in professional sport, and inspired the students to continue developing both their passion and their skills.

Overall, it was a fantastic day of sport, learning, and community spirit. A huge well done to all the students who took part, and a big thank-you to the Wanderers for organising such a successful event. Our team has every reason to feel proud of their achievements—both on and off the court.
