Home News & Events Internet Safety Week
Our recent Internet Safety Week sessions, featuring a mix of video and written resources, received positive feedback from pupils and teaching staff. We’re excited to report successful engagement, creative use of materials, and valuable staff feedback, showcasing the effectiveness of the initiative.
Video Resources were a hit with Students, learning how to identify scammers online, how to stay safe on various platforms on social media and gaming online.
“Git Gud Loser” trolling story was a gender adapted short story about game trolling with a comprehension exercise and Fake or Real was an adapted multiple-choice exercise to accompany a video explanation and examples of Deep Fakes at an appropriate level.
We also had a visit from the Police Liaison Team.
The feedback from Internet Safety Week demonstrates strong engagement from both students and staff, with resources being effectively tailored to meet diverse learning needs. We’re proud to offer flexible materials that address the crucial topics of online safety, encouraging students to think critically about their digital behaviour.
