Pantomime Trip – Aladdin at Blyth Phoenix Theatre

Pupils from both our Ashington and Backworth sites came together to enjoy a fantastic festive outing to the Blyth Phoenix Theatre for this year’s pantomime production of Aladdin.

From the moment the curtain went up, the students were fully immersed in the magic, humour, and excitement of the show. The lively musical numbers were a particular highlight—several pupils commented that the songs were “amazing,” and many were quite literally dancing in their seats!

Reflecting on the day, Miss Goldsborough said:
“It was incredible to see the pure joy on the students’ faces—especially those I don’t often get the chance to work with. Their excitement was contagious!”

It was wonderful to see students from both sites sharing the experience, laughing together, and getting into the festive spirit as one community. A brilliant day was had by all, and the performance left everyone buzzing with Christmas cheer.
