Community Week

During Community Week, Children had the opportunity to visit the local care home. The children engaged with the residents listening to them and playing games with them. Some children made bracelets for the residents and kindly made pipe cleaner flowers as gifts for the residents. The children were upset leaving and would love to go back to visit. We have arranged another visit before Christmas.

There was an ambulance visit on Tuesday afternoon where children kit and learned basic life-saving skills like the recovery position.

Wednesday we had a fun experience with the local fire station visiting and showing us inside the engine. They explained to children what the equipment was and when needed using real life situations. The pupils enjoyed this visit asking great questions.
